[ FAQ ]
FRXME is an interactive AR photo booth made by SHXFT Studio in Dubai: a 43-inch portrait mirror with a 4K camera, full-body tracking and a ring light. Guests take AR photos and videos, play games, try things on or get AI portraits, and receive everything by QR code in under ten seconds.
Both, and more. It does what a mirror photo booth does, then adds full-body AR, games, virtual try-ons and AI portraits, with every photo sent to the guest’s phone by QR.
No. A 360 booth spins a camera around a platform for slow-motion video. FRXME is a mirror: guests face it, see themselves in AR and play. Plenty of events run both.
Every booking is quoted to the event: the number of days and displays, the experience, and how much custom content it needs. Tell us the date and the brief and we’ll send a proposal.
A QR code appears on screen after every session. Guests scan it and the photo, video, GIF or boomerang opens on their phone in under ten seconds. No app, no sign-up. Printed photos are available on request.
Yes. The display is wrapped in your colours, the base takes a logo up to 40 × 40cm, and every screen and AR experience is designed around your brand.
The display is 1.7m tall with a 64 × 35.5cm footprint and weighs 50kg. Leave one to two metres in front, depending on the experience and how many people are in the shot. It runs from one standard power socket and needs an internet connection, venue Wi-Fi or a cable, so photos can reach guests’ phones.
Setup on site is quick. The experience is built, branded and tested before we arrive, so on the day the display goes in place and switches on. It comes out in about 30 minutes, with no fixings left behind.
About a week for a branded photo booth. Two to three weeks for a custom AR experience, and four weeks or more for bigger games. The sooner we confirm, the sooner the display is held for your date.
Yes. The page guests reach from the QR code can ask for their email before the photo downloads. Diriyah captured thousands of emails at Outernet London.
